Alexander’s Coyote Communities

Our Alexander’s Coyote Communities are well underway with great success!  Students in Grades 6, 7 and 8 are participating in a variety of activities designed to promote positive mental health and stress management as is required by the Ontario Health curriculum.  These communities have been building and supporting a great sense of belonging for students within our ALX community.

In the month of December our students participated in a variety of team building activities within their communities. For the months of January and February, our focus is on positive mental health and stress management techniques.

The ultimate goal of our initiative is to provide students with an opportunity to interact with a variety of students and staff through dynamic and engaging lessons that foster self-esteem, leadership skills and collaboration.

Below are the upcoming dates and times in which our communities will come together:

Monday January 22nd - period 1

Monday January 29th - period 3

Monday February 5th - period 5

Monday February 12th - period 1
